Aunt Jemima Syrup

Aunt Jemima syrup is a whole hearted tasty maple flavored candy (basically) that essentially is poured over Aunt Jemima pancakes or waffles. Some say that's breakfast. I say it's a high carb, sugar induced, nerve rattling infused blood sugar raising destructive force of science that a laboratory created! You know something? I like it! Ha! Ha!

I'm no food hypocrite or a doctor killjoy; if a great customer wants something delivered, I deliver said product and I'll let you in on another thing: I've ate plenty of Aunt Jemima pancakes with this syrup as a kid because my dear mother blended and poured it on a skillet and expected us to eat it, one after another, no questions. Cold cereal was the anti-Christ.

I remember being quite stuffed along with eggs over easy, buttered toast, fried potatoes, whole milk and even biscuits at times along with bacon. Yes, I'm still alive and kicking! I also don't put out a smoke in the egg yolk on the plate when done because I don't smoke :) (Can't even tell you how many times I've seen a smashed out, still burning butt in egg yolk.) How disgusting and gross. Strictly 1970's. Ahhh, what memories..:)

Excellent Aunt Jemima Syrup Additives!

Pancakes & Aunt Jemima Syrup. That's the easy and traditional way to eat any flapjacks. I'm loath to say that's how I've always ate them. :( Better inspirational eaters then myself have slathered their cakes with different toppings and I have to admit that I haven't tried them yet, but the pecans with caramel and fudge look like a crazy carnival of twisted taste. I hold my hands up high with a blessing to great and experimental cooks out there who strive to make bland into better! Here's just a few toppings simply added if only to cross check maple syrup.
