As a father of a grown up boy, now a man, I have fond memories of feeding my baby son peas in his high chair and his face being a total mess! It was one part entertainment and one part necessity. I was learning as I went along with the journey as well. Gerber was there for us as we raised our son and for that I am thankful.
Every parent has a secret baby food flavor, don't deny it! Mine was Plum! The jar (back when Gerber used glass jars) was a cool purple color, it smelled good and the look on my kid's face when I ate a spoonful of it was priceless....I was eating HIS food...how dare I do that!?! How dare I?!
I wouldn't trade any of those great memories for a million dollars.
