Hamburger Helper was born in 1971. I was six years old! I have to tell you; it's still a great buy and a decent meal. I've made the different dishes throughout my years, added items they suggested like onion, chopped peppers, cheese and bacon. Can you add vegetables? I have and it's all good! We need some fuel in the tank and the dish doesn't disappoint. As a student of history, I will always say that this product was an idea from the United States depression in the 1930's, as a lot of those noodle dishes were. Money was and is always tight babe.

Deluxe Cheeseburger Macaroni 5.5 Oz: Add 1 LB ground beef or turkey, 1 & 1/4 cups water, two cups milk & two tablespoons butter. Dial up the flavor! Stir in chopped onion just before simmering, Add shredded cheddar cheese and chopped dill pickles just before serving.
Cheeseburger Macaroni 6.6 Oz: Add 1 LB ground beef or turkey, 1 & 1/4 cups water and two cups milk Add chopped cooked bacon, shredded cheese and chopped fresh tomatoes. I don't add chopped fresh tomatoes. It's a very expensive "fresh" and most of them are gross anyway, waxy and flavorless. Instead, I add spiked canned tomatoes which have a hell of a lot of more bang!

Cheddar Cheese Melt 4.7 Oz: Add 1 LB lean ground beef or turkey, one cup of water and 1 & 2/3 cup of milk. Add some zip and zest! Stir in chopped dill pickles and shredded cheddar cheese just before serving. Serve with hot sauce.

Offered are some different ground beef percentages for your pasta meal. I believe a good 90% Lean & 10% Fat ground beef sirloin is the healthiest for Hamburger Helper. Otherwise, you'll be draining off a lot of fat.
An 80% Lean & 20% Fat ground is still good if you don't give a jack about the fat (I have to admit, beef fat in the dish really makes it).
Ground turkey works well; blending it with beef stretches the dishes even better.

That's right, a real human being making it happen for you. Prices you see on Food Run Fix are close estimates and not guaranteed to be absolute because they change every day, so I have to comb the grocery lanes, see what they got, see the prices, pick the products and give you the shout out! Just like if you were shopping yourself. Simply add your items to the cart.
Paying:
Don't pay anything, regardless of what you see in the cart until I send you the actual invoiced bill of the real time prices, sales tax and my delivery fee, right from the store. You also get the receipt; everything is open and upfront.
