Heluva good dip actually started out as a heluva good cheese curd way back in 1925. I didn't know the company was that old! Perry Messinger, the founder of Heluva Good, was a hobbyist who made homemade cheese curd. The story goes that when a traveling salesman stopped by his house, he tried some of Perry's cheese and exclaimed, "That's a hell of a good cheese!". Located in Sodus, NY, the company specializes in not only dip, but cheese, sour cream, and even condiments. Their dip is made with sour cream, no oil or water added, making it the very best tasting dip on the market today. Heluva Good products can also be found at the company's country store located at the corner of Barclay Rd. and State Route 104 in Sodus NY, on the Seaway Trail, midway between Rochester and Syracuse.
