Any ad agency knows what it's doing. It knows people love dogs. It knows that we treat them like kids. It knows that we'll do anything to take care of them, prolong their lives, keep them safe, build their coats and let them be the master of the bed when we are trying to sleep. There's no better alarm clock. How do dogs know when we have to get up?
We want to feed them good food. In periods of reflection and great amusement, I think of the flavors of dog food offered and how the branding reflects how humans eat. Steak, chicken, vegetables, pasta, etc. Feeding a dog from the table seems to be frowned on, but the dog food we buy reflects the table food flavors, lol! How interesting! Dog food marketing at it's best, folks!
It's my personal belief that the food is sold to our emotions as humans before we buy it and feed our pets. Anyway, feeding our four legged friends isn't complicated and not a chore, but a pleasure.
